A Peek at my Shop

Shabby, Vintage and Interesting

I am showing off some pictures of my shop, White Cats and Roses, located in the Chelsea Antique and Decorating Mall, on I 280 in Chelsea, Alabama, about 10 miles south of Birmingham.
I have been sharing the booth with a friend but she has moved on to start her own shop in our town of Sylacauga. I like the freedom of the mall and the camaraderie of the other vendors. I am working on filling up the whole space myself and have been very pleased with the sales.

I am restocking the booth from my surplus at home as the weather is too cold and wet for yard sales. I can't wait for the spring when the hunt for that special treasure will begin again.I hope you can tell from the pictures that I have a curious mixture of primitive, old and quirky. Most of my merchandise is old and one of a kind. I hope that you will stop by when you are out this way. Tell Trish or Mark you read this blog and they will give you a 20% discount. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers, Lena

Hi, Lena, are you Wanda's friend?? I think I remember your name from her blog too. I am just down the road from you in Chelsea & have been in the Chelsea Antiques market several times. I think I need to get out one day soon & go browsing there so I will definitely look up your space.

Thanks for dropping me a note!

Hi Lena, thanks for stopping in to see me...I love your shop. I love old things (vintage) especially old books...please do come again. I'm certainly going to be a frequent visitor in here!
It's something about white cats...

Oh, and ps, I have a cat that is identical to yours...his name is Peanut...altho he's over a year old, he's still the size of a kitten...they call him a munchkin...

The pictures look great! Just like it does in person!

I'm still trying to get Christmas put up and the house is a horrible mess, so still no blogging for me.

Lena, I wish you were nearby. Unfortunately since my hubby's Mom and Dad have both passed, we don't get down there anymore. Pity, it's such a beautiful state! I love your site simply for it's name. It's soothing
